A planning application to remove the pipe organ from a closed historic church in central Norwich was withdrawn following objections from scores of local residents, and by Pipe Up.
Pipe Up had made a formal objection to the planning application, involving the conversion of a former URC church in Princes Street to a music and dance venue.
The Grade II listed church shut down in 2020.
The plan involved the complete removal of its 1870 Father Willis organ.
